Kim Jong Il’s Feat for Defending Socialism by Dint of Ideology

On the Day of the Shining Star, the birthday of leader Kim Jong Il, the Korean people recall the undying feats he performed in defending socialism by dint of ideology.

The leader had regarded it as his lifelong mission to accomplish the socialist cause of Juche pioneered by President Kim Il Sung.

 Through his energetic ideological and theoretical activities, he formulated the Juche idea, the revolutionary idea of the President, as the guiding idea in the era of independence and set forth the ideas and theories proper for steering the rapidly-changing trend of the times.

He authored such celebrated works as “Abuses of Socialism Are Intolerable” and “Socialism Is a Science” to prove the validity and scientific accuracy of socialism and led all the people to hold fast to the Songun (military-first) idea as a treasured sword for invincibility in keeping with the requirement of the developing revolution.

 And he advanced the ideas and theories on arming the popular masses with the socialist ideology and preserving the socialist principles and the true nature of socialism.

The leader had wisely guided the work to display the advantages of socialism in the revolution and construction.

 He saw to it that everything should serve the people and all the problems should be settled by giving full play to the creative zeal of the popular masses.

 With the slogan “We serve the people!” as his maxim, he had made a ceaseless journey of devotion to the country’s prosperity and the people’s well-being until his heart stopped beating on a running train for field guidance.

 His idea and leadership are now being creditably carried forward by supreme leader Kim Jong Un.
