As it is known 45 assemblymen of the Liberal Democratic Party, the Democratic Party and independents without party affiliation, and 60  professors, political critics and press men posted a full page advertisement on the "Washington Post". In the ads they asserted;

   "No documents dealt with intervention of the Japanese army or government for the coercive drafting of comfort women. In 1938 military archive was recorded the prohibition of recruiting the comfort women under the name of the army." It is no less than a preposterous sophism.

    Under the pressure of the world opinion Japan officially acknowledged in the government-level the fact of coercively employing comfort women to serve for the Japanese army during the Second World War.  Outcries were raised around the world to the unprecedented criminal incident of "comfort women". Notwithstanding it has the face to deny the truth in every occasion. It reveals the impudent and crafty nature of Japan. And now it rigged up "intellectual groups" including professors and political critics  to induce its allegation as authentic. Such are the cunning acts proper to Japan. Perhaps "Where ignorance is bliss, it is folly to be wise" is the suitable words to them.

   Japan should act with discretion. The international community viewed the contrary attitude of the war harmers - Japan and Germany - towards the war and postwar reparation. Recently Germany stated that it compensated vast amount of money to those inflicted in forced labor. However, in contrary Japan has never accepted its responsibility for war repatriation and rebuffed it with absurd excuse.  Its true nature is to harbor an illusion of comeback to militarism.  It harbors to open the road for militarism and aggressive war by permeating the positive outlook of militarism and aggressive ideology through the distortion and denial of past history.

    Japan misjudges. The reality witnesses Japanese wild ambition as a mere illusion.

  However it denies the past crime the heavier it would be charged and the more criticism it would receive.

   Japan must know that unless it repents the past, its future will be doomed to ruin.
