Peruvian Political Party Congratulates

Kim Jong Il on His Reelection as General Secretary of WPK

 The People´s Front of Workers, Peasants and Students of Peru issued a statement on Oct. 5 congratulating leader Kim Jong Il on his reelection as general secretary of the Workers´ Party of Korea.

 The statement said:

 The People´s Front of Workers, Peasants and Students of Peru extends warm congratulations to respected Kim Jong Il on his reelection as general secretary of the Workers´ Party of Korea at the recent WPK Conference and its successful holding.

 His reelection to the top post of the WPK represents the absolute support and trust of all the party members and people in him as he has strengthened and developed it into an experienced and tested party for nearly half a century.

 The WPK Conference marked a historic event of landmark significance in carving out the future of socialist Korea and ensuring progress in the socialist cause.

 Not only we but also the rest of the world people are convinced that socialism in the DPRK will never be frustrated but continue to make progress only in their van.

Statements Issued to Congratulate

Kim Jong Il on His Reelection as General Secretary of WPK

 The Revolutionary Socialist Party of Peru released a statement on Oct. 4 congratulating leader Kim Jong Il on his reelection as general secretary of the Workers´ Party of Korea and its 65th birthday.

 The statement wished Kim Jong Il great successes in his work for further strengthening the WPK and accomplishing the cause of building a thriving nation as early as possible.

 It noted that the strengthening of the WPK and accomplishment of the cause of building a great prosperous and powerful socialist nation would powerfully encourage progressive humankind in its struggle for defending global peace from the threats of the U.S. imperialists and its followers.

The Stoke-on-Trent Branch of the British Group for the Study of the Juche Idea and the Peruvian People´s Women Union separately issued statements on Oct. 3 and 4 on the occasion of Kim Jong Il´s reelection as general secretary of the WPK.
