On this day, President Trump, the military, state department and all 100 senators will meet at the White House to discuss an attack on North Korea. We are protesting at the White House and around the country to say NO to a US attack on North Korea.

STOP THE UNITED STATES FROM ATTACKING NORTH KOREA

 

 

 

The United States has been escalating conflict with North Korea recently and now President Trump has announced that he plans to meet with all 100 Senators on Wednesday, April 26, without their staffers, at the White House. Generals will be present at the meeting to discuss North Korea.

 

Please complete the information below to tell your Senators that you oppose a US attack on North Korea and urge them to negotiate for peace instead.

 

The petition reads:

 

"I urge you to STRONGLY OPPOSE more escalation of aggression towards North Korea by the United States and our allies.

We cannot risk a United States military attack on North Korea because it is a nuclear power and it risks escalation with North Korean allies, China and Russia, which could take us into a major global conflict.

 

I urge you to support diplomatic negotiations with President Kim Jong-un, a peace agreement to finally end the Korean War and the cessation of military exercises on the North Korean border."

 

We must send a strong message to the Senators that we will not tolerate a US attack on North Korea. The time to do that is now!

 

Background: The corporate media drums up aggression towards North Korea every time they test a missile. What the media leaves out is that the missile testing is in response to US military exercises with South Korea along the border of North Korea that simuate nuclear attacks and assassination of the North Korean Persident. North Korea has pledged to stop the testing if the US stops the military exercises.

 

The United States has an incentive to attack North Korea because South Korea plans to hold an election for a new President in May following the recent impeachment of President Park Geun-hye, who was a strong ally of the US. The leading candidate is not as friendly to US militarism in South Korea. The US is currently rushing to build a missile defense (THAAD) system in South Korea that is opposed by the population.

 

We must stop a US attack on North Korea because it is a nuclear power and it risks escalation with North Korean allies China and Russia.
