DPRK People Hail Kim Jong Un’s Election as WPK Chairman

 

 

 Upon receiving the news that the Seventh Congress of the Workers’ Party of Korea (WPK) elected the dear respected Kim Jong Un to its top post, the army and people of the DPRK have extended their highest respects and warm congratulations to him.

 

They are unanimous in saying that his election to the chairman of the WPK is a great auspicious event as it guarantees the rosy future and prosperity of the great Paektusan nation.

 

Hong Chol Jun, an officer of the Korean People’s Army, told:

 

KPA Supreme Commander Kim Jong Un ushered in a golden age of strengthening the revolutionary armed forces with his idea of Juche-based army-building, strategy and tactics and distinguished commanding art, firmly determined to accomplish the great cause of Paektu with arms.

 

The KPA under his commandership has grown into the most powerful army in the world, equipped with latest offensive and defensive means, which is ready to defeat at one stroke any formidable enemies who dare infringe upon the sovereignty and dignity of the country.

 

We, servicepersons, will readily risk our lives to defend the Party and the leader, the country and the people, mindful that the victorious advance of the Songun (military-first) revolution is ensured by our intense loyalty to the Supreme Commander.

 

Yun Jae Hyok, manager of the Sangwon Cement Complex, said:

 

Our people’s dreams and ideals are being translated into reality under the wise leadership of the respected ComradeKim Jong Un.

 

His election to the top post of the WPK will reliably guarantee the eternal prosperity of Kim Il Sung’s and Kim Jong Il’s Korea.

 

Ri Hye Suk, chairwoman of the management board of the Samjigang Co-op Farm in Jaeryong County, said:

 

We, agricultural workers standing on the first line trench of the first echelon in defense of socialism, are now replete with a great joy at the special event of the nation.

 

We will remain faithful to the guidance of Comrade Kim Jong Un, top leader of the WPK, and devote all our wisdom and zeal to the implementation of the decision of its Seventh Congress.

 

We will surely reap a bumper crop this year by displaying the same working spirit as the preceding patriotic peasants did to uphold the Party with increased grain production.
