Dear President Obama,

 

My name is In-Sook Lee living in California. I voted for you because I thought you are someone who loves others - not like former president Bush. Mr. Bush lied to the world when he said that Iraq had “Weapons of Mass Destruction” and invaded the country. Obviously he is a war criminal, killed so many people and destroyed human lives and historical wealth.

 

Now, again, we are at the edge of a massively destructive war, because of US war games running March 7 through April 30 which are a direct threat to the N.Korean people and are creating great anxiety.   

 

About 320,000 soldiers are involved, reported by KBS news (S.Korean TV) on 02.21.2016.

The 103,000-ton nuclear-powered supercarrier USS John C. Stennis, B-52 strategic nuclear bombers, B-2 stealth bombers, F-22 stealth fighters and a nuclear-powered submarine, the USS North Carolina were also sent to the Korean Peninsula for joint drills amid tensions.

        

The Key Resolve exercise, Foal Eagle exercise and Ssangyong exercise, the US-Korean joint military exercises in Korean Peninsula are the largest-ever in history and simulate previously unattempted strategies.

Specifically, these exercises include practicing a deep invasion of N.Korea’s central areas, the capture of the capital city Pyongyang after landing at Wonsan, and the US army and S.Korean army charging across the DMZ to the north, as well as pre-emptive nuclear attacks – ‘surgical strikes’ targeting the North’s nuclear weapons and missile facilities, and “decapitation” raids to take out North Korea’s leaders.

 

This is why N.Korea responds this way whenever the joint drills take the place.

 

The N. Korean leader Kim Jong-un ordered his military on standby for pre-emptive nuclear strikes.

The military leadership of the DPRK issued a statement that said, “The General Staff of the Korean People's Army will counter the enemies' landing drill aiming at advance into Pyongyang with the operation to liberate the whole of South Korea including Seoul and the enemies' tactics of high-density strike with an ultra-precision blitzkrieg strike of the Korean style.” “The US will be destructed completed, including Washington, by the Nuclear bombs”, reported by N.Korean Central News Agency. 

North Korean leadership has also asserted that it can wipe Manhattan off the map with a hydrogen bomb in response to joint exercises. Mr. Donald Kirk  said in the Korea Times "The North's threats are now backed up by a growing nuclear and missile capability,"

 

Mr. Tony Namkung said, 
"The current situation is unprecedented, with one side embarked on the most massive military exercises ever and the other threatening to carry out preemptive nuclear strikes…Never has the need for quiet diplomacy been greater. The next two months will be especially dangerous." 

 

Perhaps your administration does not have good enough information about N.Korea, because of the DPRK’s  isolation as the result of  sanctions and military threats on it. But, these war games will fail even though it has specially-trained troops and advanced equipment. Many people think that the Terminal High Altitude Area Defense will stop N Korea’s missile capabilities. But Dr. Theodore A. Postol and other missile defense experts say that THAAD will not be effective under these circumstances.

 

My conclusion is that the US-S.Korea joint military drill is so dangerous that US and Korea might be destroyed completely in a nuclear war.  

 

Dr. Alan Greenspan, former Federal Reserve Chairman, declared that the Iraq war was ‘largely’ about oil.

We are the sinners who have been killing so many innocent peoples for the profit of  a small group of warmongers. We have lots of ‘weapons of mass-destruction’ (WMD)”, but we have falsely accused others of having WMDs and have lied to the world about it.

 

Let the United States be honest before God and the rest of the human race.

 

Dear President Obama, you are the Nobel Peace Prize laureate. Stop the US-S.Korea join military exercises now.

 

Please, let the people live in peace, in the USA and the Korean Peninsula.
